Re: bursar-l: Scholarships listed on 1098T

Shawnee State University includes any third party funding in the
scholarships and grants box of the 1098T. Student loans and personal
payments are excluded from the scholarship and grants total.

We are having a difference in opinion on what should be included in the
scholarships and grants box on the 1098T. Do you include scholarships
provided by third parties? Do you include payments from sources such as
the National Guard and Americorps? What about payments from a student's
or a student's parent's employer? Any help on this matter would be
appreciated.
