At Chatham University we have a taxi voucher service for our students.
Our public safety office is in charge of distributing the actual voucher
upon a student's request. The student then uses a cab "paying" with
their voucher. The University then bills our Accounts Payable office on
a monthly basis for all vouchers. When the invoice is received our A/P
department pays and then forwards a copy of the invoice to the Student
Accounts office where I actually charge the student account. The
student is then billed through regular student account billing. It is
sometimes quite a process, however our student enjoy the convenience
factor.
