We are currently seeking a Financial Assistance Counselor.
The primary objective of this position is the collection of delinquent
higher education receivable and tuition fee debts, including the
placement of these debts with external collection agencies in compliance
with University procedures. This position works independently and
maintains a working knowledge and awareness of regulations pertaining to
the collection of student debts, including Federal bankruptcy law and
the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Also responsible for the
collection of delinquent debts owed to the University of Florida by
current employees as well as all aspects of payroll deduction for
University of Florida employees
