If a student does not attend any of his/her classes, we classify him/her as
a "No Show" and all charges are reversed and all financial aid is
returned/cancelled. If he/she attends at least one class, the student is
responsible for 100% of the charges, unless he/she officially withdraws and
a specific refund amount (75%, 50% or 25%) is determined to be appropriate.

Subject: bursar-l: Students that never attend a class

Colleagues,

I have a quick question regarding policy for student who never attend.

For a student who registers for a class, never officially withdraws from the
class, but never attends the class, what portion of the tuition does your
institution hold the student responsible for paying?

(a) Student must pay 100% of class tuition.

(b) Student must pay _____% of tuition.

(c) Student tuition is forgiven, since they never attended.

Does this differ if NONE of their classes were attended that semester?

Thank you for your input!
