We do report them at AU. We do this for the accounts we place into
collections. We do not report students who may be past due but making
payments directly to us. It has worked well to flush out some accounts when
they go to apply for a car loan or something else down the road. Our
collection agencies do this directly, so it is hands-off for us.

Hi,

The University of North Dakota is considering reporting student account
balances on their credit reports. Their balances may include
tuition/fees, housing, or other misc. charges. Are other institutions
currently reporting these balances? If so, how is it working for you?
