At PHCC we total back out the charges. No billing ever goes to the
estate.

We are interested in finding out how other colleges are handling the
unpaid balances of deceased students. Once you have been notified that
the student is deceased, does anyone ever send a bill to the estate? Do
you reverse the tuition charges thereby lowering revenue or do you write
off the unpaid balance?
In the past we have written off the balance as uncollectible debt.
