Our due date is the third Friday of each quarter, leaving ample time to
pay and financial aid disbursed. That said, about 4% don't pay on time
and we put on late fees of $120 (balanced over $250). We don't cancel
from classes anymore (unnecessary bureaucracy) but put a hold on the
account so they can't register for the next quarter. Unless they pay,
they don't continue. 99.7% pay by the end of the quarter. Works much
better than before. We've always had the late deadline though.
