Hi!
I am interested to find out what your experience has been with a provider of tuition insurance.
1) Does your institution offer tuition insurance for parents and students?
2) If so, is it paid for by the institution or independently by the parents and students?
3) If it is paid for by the parents and students, how has the insurance affected your institution (ie: Student Accounts, Academic Advising, Student Services)? Is it positive or negative, and why? Does it save you money by covering refunds you might otherwise have paid yourself? Do parents and students perceive this as a good deal? Do many purchase the policies?
4) Any comments regarding two major vendors, A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. or Markel Insurance Company? Are there others you would recommend?
Thank you,
Donna Groat
