Hi Maria,
We are a 3,000+ student private liberal arts college, with 2 graduate
programs. We recently (within the last year) eliminated the application
fee ($25). It was being waived for online applicants and the decision
was made to eliminate for all to be fair.
We do not charge any fee to make schedule changes. Although I like
the idea to stop the excessive adds and drops after the semester
begins; I know it would never be approved here.
We do charge a $150 No Show fee for students who do not drop within
the generous two week drop period and never attend class. It has
deterred some of the problems.

Dear List:

Admissions is asking that we eliminate the admission application fee
and waive our program change fees for incoming freshman (currently
we
charge all students for program changes after the first day of classes
during the add/drop period). Do you charge students to apply for
admission? Do you charge a program change fee? If so, how much
and
when does the fee begin?
Thanks in advance for your help.
