RE: admission application fees and program change fees

We charge a $50 application fee.
We give students the first add/drop form for free, but charge $25 for each
additional form. The exception is, if the student was wait listed and then
got into the class ... I wouldn't count that against them. The fees are
intended to cut down on abuse, not punish legitimate reasons for schedule
changes.

Subject: admission application fees and program change fees

Dear List:

We are a small 2000+ students liberal arts college. Our Dean of Admissions
is asking that we eliminate the admission application fee and waive our
program change fees for incoming freshman (currently we charge all students
for program changes after the first day of classes during the add/drop
period). Do you charge students to apply for admission? Do you charge a
program change fee? If so, how much and when does the fee begin?

Thanks in advance for your help.
