RE: 1098T detail

Abilene Christian University is a private Banner school. We provide the detail but
outsource the printing, mailing, and online presentation. That solution has worked
wonderfully well. We run the Banner jobs, send the electronic file to our vendor
(SallieMae), and virtually don't think about it again until next year. They field
requests for duplicates, etc.

Hello everyone,

We are interested in whether schools provide detail of the amounts listed in Boxes
2-5 of the 1098T to students and parents. If so, how do you provide it? Are you a
Banner school? Lastly, are you a private or public institution?

We have, in the past, provided detail in a modified 1098T, but are under pressure to
not do so this year.
