Maria,
We wait until the aid is disbursed because pending aid may never show up.

For dropped classes, we have an automatic refund hold (we call it a "wash
period" hold) placed on the student until our add period is over (two weeks
in). We will release before if the student requests. If they paid with a
check, we have a 20day clearing hold before we refund. If they don't want
to wait, then they must prove their check cleared.
