Shawnee State University charges $130 late fee for unpaid balances and
not on our payment plan. This is a one time per quarter fee. Our
payment plan late fees are (1st - $45, 2nd - $30, 3rd - $30).
Return Check charge is $40.

Subject: Request for Late Fee/Returned Check Fee Information
Hi Everyone, we are reviewing our charges for Late Fees and Returned
Check Fees. Would you please share the amount your institution charges
for late fees on past due charges on a monthly basis? In addition, how
much is your institution charging for returned check fees?
Central Michigan University charges $20 in late fees each month for
balances for $40.00 or more, up to a maximum of $120.00 in late charge
fees for the existing past due.
Central Michigan University charges $25.00 for returned check fees, if
the account becomes past due because of the returned check then they
would receive a $20 late fee. In addition, if the returned check is for
tuition, an addtional returned check fee of $25.00 is charged.
