At Aurora University we charge a student activity fee. This fee is 100%
refundable if the student totally withdraws during the graduated refund
period which is the first 3 weeks of the regular semester. This fee is only
charged on Fall and Spring Undergrad tuition. It is not charged during
Summer term.

Lorie,
We charge the same fees (a Technology Fee and a Student Activity Fee). They
are refundable 100% if the student withdraws within the drop/add period,
which ends at the end of the second week of classes and 0% is refundable
after that point in time.

We currently charge an activity fee and a technology fee to our students.
If the student withdraws, these fees are non-refundable. I am trying to
find out how other schools handle this.
Are your fees built into your tuition?
If you do charge separate fees, are they non-refundable or are they
pro-rated if a student withdraws?
Thanks!
