Position:
Assistant Director of Student Accounts
Education & Experience:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of related
experience in student
accounts and bursar. Financial aid experience is a plus. The ideal
candidate must be
comfortable multi-tasking and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Candidate must
be proficient
in Microsoft Word and Excel. Candidate must possess communication and
customer
service skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
The University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant
Director of Student
Accounts. The successful candidate will assist in:
§ Billing and making payment arrangements for approximately 3,000
students annually, with emphasis on delivering superior customer service.
§ Manage the University’s monthly payment plan with our outside
vendor, Tuition Management Systems.
§ Assist in the disbursement and return of all title IV loan funds
in compliance with federal regulations.
§ Oversee the University’s third-party billing and graduate
deferment programs.
§ Perform daily cashiering functions; assist in the regular review
and adjustment of student receipt and posting of student payments and daily
deposits/reconciliation.
§ Resolve student inquiries, and work on special projects as
assigned.
§ Assist in retrieving and responding to incoming calls/emails.
§ The position will report to the Associate Director of Student
Accounts.
Hours:
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
