I would like to invite you to the first official conference of the
Michigan Association of Student Financial Services Administrators
(MASFSA), which will be held in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

On Friday, May 13, we have put together some very exciting topics that
range from Bankruptcy to Collection techniques. As you all know, this
is a very critical time for our programs and institutions. We have
included a very informative session on "How to Save the Perkins Program"
and a Federal update presented by Brian Smith from the Department of
Education.

Please plan on arriving on Thursday evening for a wonderful opportunity
to network with people who perform your job at other institutions.
Also, this will be a great opportunity to interact with the different
vendors on hand and to hear about the different services that they offer
in Michigan.

Through generous support from our sponsors, we are able to keep this
conference very affordable. The first attendee from a member
institution is $40.00 (reason enough to join) and $15.00 for additional
attendees. Non-members and associate members have a slightly higher
rate. (See brochure for details).

Please take a look attached brochure and plan on sending everyone from
your office that would benefit from our sessions. Mark your calendars
for Thursday, May 12, 2005 and Friday May 13, 2005. With your support,
we can make MASFSA grow.
