FW: COHEAO Grass Roots Action Network

Dear Colleagues,
For your information, I am forwarding information regarding the COHEAO Grass
Roots Action Network which I have received from our loan billing servicer
and business partner Educational Computer Services, Inc. (ECSI). ECSI is
one of several commercial members of COHEAO that make up the "CGRAN
Membership Committee". These commercial entities work with schools to help
service and collect Federal Perkins student loans. This committee has been
formed to support the future of the Federal Perkins Loan Program. As you
know, President Bush's Budget Proposal includes the elimination of the
Federal Perkins Loan Program.
The mission of this organization is to provide all of the necessary
materials and information for schools to assist in educating Congress
regarding the value and importance of the Perkins Loan Program.
Feel free to share this information with your colleagues and encourage their
participation via other listservs. If you have specific questions regarding
