I received a request today for a 2004 1098T from a student that is a
non-resident alien. Since I am just getting this request today, I had not
reported on this person (per the requirements) and I have literally just
submitted to the IRS yesterday. Has anyone had to retroactively go back and
report a student that requested after January 31 before and if so, can you
provide guidance on how to report to the IRS (ie - is this just an amendment
or corrected 1098T?). Thanks in advance for any help!!
