We have a "One Stop Shop" here at Clarkson University in northern New York
State - Potsdam. We are a small private university of about 3,000
students. In 1996 we combined the Offices of Registrar, Financial Aid,
Bursar, and Student Scheduling. We became "Student Administrative
Services". This has worked out very well for us.

Our reporting structure is the Director of Financial Aid is also the
Director of SAS. The Director reports directly to the Vice President of
Business & Finance. However, the Registrar reports to the Vice President
for Academics.

One Stop Service

Hello All -
 
Does anyone currently have a "One-Stop" service on their campus where
students can get information regarding student accounts, financial aid,
and registration all in one location? We are interested in visiting
locations that provide this service to students. We are aware of this
type of service at the University of Minnesota, but we would like to know
if there are more schools out there.
