We use Sallie Mae Net.pay for echeck payments. It is stand alone and interfaces with our system daily. We are looking at implementing real-time. The payment site accepts checks, saving account payments and credit cards. They also provide a pay by phone option which we have implemented and we currently use their payment plan. Our experience so far has been great we have added the link from various sites and it appears seamless. We currently have one payment site for all our locations for payment of tuition, fees and books, transcript fees and other misc fees and another payment site just for the admission departments for application fees and admissions deposits. We currently provide online registration and payment online by credit card only through Datatel. What I like about this additional option is that any party can make a payment without secured passwords and PIN as long as they know the student ID number.

Please do! We are also planning to implement a payment gateway in the near
future and would like to hear about your experiences and suggestions with
Touchnet, as well as any other vendors that you considered.

We are going up on Touchnet WebCheck Payment Gateway Monday. I will provide
some feedback once we are up. It took about 3 weeks to install test and
bring live.

Hi all,
We're a large community college who is beginning to seriously
consider
adding E-check to our suite of payment options. If you have time to
help
me out with a few quick questions, that would be great.
1. Who is your vendor?
2. Is it stand-alone or is there an interface with your operating
system?
3. What do or don't you like about it?
4. Is it worth the investment and why or why not?
Currently we do provide registration and payment on-line (Banner and
TouchNet).
I appreciate whatever information, help or advice you can give.
Have a
great day.
