At the University of Delaware we use SIS PLUS and bill for our Spring
semester in December. For the 2003 1098T we are planning to report
qualified tuition and related expenses. We are planning to include
Spring semester (if the student was billed in December) because it
begins in the first 3 months of 2004, however are at a standstill with
how we are supposed to treat financial aid for Spring because at the
time of the 1098T mailing financial aid is "estimated" and not
officially disbursed onto the students accounts. Are we to include
financial aid for semesters that begin in the first 3 months of 2004
even if they are not disbursed? I am interested in hearing from anyone
who can point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance for your input.
