Broward Community College has approximately 40,000 students.
We have a total of 18 Cashiers at 6 locations.
Our Billing and Check Disbursement Office has 5 employees.
3rd Party billings are handled by a staff of 2 employees.

I am trying to establish a reasonable student to staff ratio in the
cashiering and billing functions. When I last asked for the
information
in 1998, the ratio was 1170 to 1 among the schools that responded. I
will gladly share the data with all those that reply.
How many employees do you have whose PRIMARY responsiblities include
one or more of the following functions?
Billing Statements (Tuition statements only for currently enrolled
students)
Cashiering (Student payments and institutional deposits)
Check audit and disbursement
