Loan Disbursing Agent

    I'm new to "Bursarland" and have been told that this is a really
    helpful group.

    The Universitiy of Hawaii is considering using a single disbursing
    agent for our FFELP processing. We are interested in hearing from
    schools that have experience with loan disbursing agents.
    What agent(s) are you using?
    Are you using one or many? Advantages/disadvantages of using certain
    agents.
    We just became a SCT Banner school. How well does the servicer work
    with the Banner software? Any words of wisdom for special set-ups in
    Banner would be much appreciated.

    The University of Hawaii consists of ten campuses (three 4-yr campuses
    and seven community colleges). Each campus is recognized as a separate
    entity by the USED by fiscal operations (accounting, disbursing,
    student accounts) are handled centrally. We have purchased Banner
    Student and Financial Aid but not Banner Finance.
