We are being pressured by .000045% of our students to adopt the AMS prepaid
tuition plan. That translates to one student out of the entire 20,000 plus
students but he knew where to get the most bang for his buck so I have been
directed to research payment plans. Again.
We used to use AMS a few years back and found it very manually intense and
simply not worth the effort. My state-wide research is coming in
indicating that it takes an additional percentage of FTE to operate a
payment plan.
Does anyone have records indicating the additional time requirements to
operate a pre-payment plan? Do you use a different set of rules when using
a pre-payment plan as far as due dates and late fees are concerned? Is it
easier to operate an in-house payment plan as opposed to an external plan?
Thanks...Pat
