Robert,
You must have gotten all the transfers from XYZ University ! Thank
goodness YOU got them.
I must say we all just went through a very tough time. Each semester
clearing student accounts is difficult, but especially Fall semester. We
have Spring to look forward to, when financial aid is in place and most of
the "work" of helping students and parents understand what it takes to
settle accounts is complete.
Parents have "helped" their kids in excess, thus making them expect things
will just happen. All will be copious, and life will be one big "no
problem man".
I feel fortunate to have a good rapport with the students here at Linfield
College. I am able to help them via email, phone and in person and they
are very appreciative. We often have difficulty getting the stragglers to
finalize there accounts but as someone said, there will always be those,
and it helps to let it go, when nothing more can be done to help them.
They too will learn what it takes to live in this
world...............eventually.
"You catch more flies with honey"
