Hello Everyone. Your experiences, expertise, recommendations,
suggestions, sage advise and wisdom, etc. appreciated.
Currently, we allow financial aid resources to reflect on student
accounts as "anticipated credit" so the family has an accurate
calculation as to what they will have to
As you know- award eligibility can- and does change- after award letters
are sent and also after bills are sent.
We are currently reviewing this process for improvement- especially in
our communication to families. We are also moving towards web-based
    applications/access.
    A couple questions to you-
Do you provide "anticipated credit" (or the like) on student bills for
financial aid resources that are not yet received or disbursed?
If so, how and when do you communicate to families any change in amount
owed/refundable as a result of an adjustment to a financial aid award?
If you do not provide "anticipated credit", do you have families pay up
front then "reimburse" themselves when the aid arrives? Do you have a
billing cycle/structure/due date that accommodates financial aid
resources not being available (although the student will be receiving
    them).

I would also be very interested in seeing a copy of your billing
statement if you would be willing to mail/fax/email one to me. Fax
    #607-274-1895.
I will be happy to summarize any responses to both lists. I appreciate
any feedback, comments, etc. on this issue- as well as your time in
    responding! Thanks!
