Here at USF, we have been using
AES Payment Plan Manager (PPM) for about 2 years to handle our all
in-house payment plans (approximately 3000 students). The
duration of the plan varies from 4 months to 28 months depending on
type of the program the student is enrolled. Our database sits
on an NT server to enable all staff to have access to PPM.

To minimize data input, we import daily transactions from our Student
Information System including new students and payments received.
Once imported, we produce welcome letters and coupons and reconcile
payments.

We do not use the autodebit/autocharge process in PPM since we already
have one in place.

PPM enables our staff to personalize correspondence and to send
monthly statements without having to deal with control cards and
extract reports.
with our network set up but the technical support staff has been
responsive and instrumental in helping us in the implementation of our
current system.
