Our campus has designated, separate parking areas for faculty/staff and students.  Parking permits (purchasable by COTC faculty/staff only) are $20 per academic year, and rates fall as time passes during the year.  These parking areas are generally closer to the buildings; people who park in faculty/staff areas without a visible permit are ticketed.  Parking for our students/in student-designated parking is free.  Of course, we are a more rural campus and do not have the big-city space pressures that some campuses do...

Are there any colleges or universities that assess an access fee to 
 students, which is used  to  maintain sidewalks, streets, parking lots etc. 
 on campus?  If so, do you also charge students for parking?  Faculty and 
 staff for parking?  If you charge for parking permits, do you have reserved 
 parking?  If you have reserved parking can anyone, students, faculty and/or 
 staff purchase reserved parking?
