At Jacksonville University we have included tuition remission benefits for
graduate tuition in taxable wages on W-2's. The exceptions being for those
individuals in research or whose primary occupation is teaching for which we
have deemed the benefit to be non-taxable per the code.

Just wanted to get some feedback as to how other schools who offer graduate
tuition remission for their employees are handling the IRS section 127
regulation for taxation of these benefits.

Thanks in advance for any information you can share.
