Bruce - answers for Geneva College are below.
Take care,

I have several questions about your financial aid awarding.
(1) When do you send award letters to prospective students? Do you do them
in "waves" or individually? If you do them in waves, when is your first
wave?
We send out financial aid awards in waves. The first batch usually goes in early March. Then we usually mail any that are ready each week after that.
(2) Do you estimate any federal/state awards on your award letters? Or do
you wait until you know exactly how much a student is to receive?
We do estimate federal aid and state aid for PA and OH. We have so little from other states, so we have not done estimates.
(3) Do you verify the student before sending an award letter?
We verify returning students before awarding. However, we do freshman without verification and ask them for tax returns etc as part of the enclosures with the award letter.
