The state prepaid plan is a sacred cow. I'm sure that it is non touchable
in the state of Washington. The program is just a few years old and if we
tried to charge a fee to anyone for administrating that particular Third
Party Guarantee I'm relatively sure that heads would roll. We promote it on
our web pages (www.wsu.edu./studacct) as it is a good deal for parents,
grandparents, etc. We even offer payroll deduction for the program. We
are in fact a state agency ourselves and would be unable to charge another
agency under the circumstances. However, I do intend on charging Voc Rehab
type programs. Go figure.
