Angela:
We are in the middle of implementing PS Student Admin/Stueent Financials and are at various phases with other PS modules. Since PS does not do any loan collection activity, our plan is to stay with Greentree for the loan collections. However, my guess is that the GT owner of the week will drop GT in the future (who can blame them, it's DOS based) and it will be way too expensive to buy their new product. At that point we will either look to PS for something, grow a home product, or switch to a servicer. I hope we can keep going with GT, but reality swings a big hammer.
Sorry this is so vague. We should keep in touch.

I have heard that People Soft does not offer software to handle in-house
billing, servicing and collecting of Perkins and Nursing loans. If
there are any schools on the list serve who have purchased or are
already using People Soft Student System, and you are handling Perkins
and Nursing billing and collection in-house, would you please share your
school's plans with me? Will you continue to use your current loan
billing system, purchase a new, "non-peoplesoft" system, or assign the
process to a servicer?
