    Hi-

    Since she will most likely not be eligible for a discharge in bankruptcy,
    I'd put the student deferment on the account, then suspend the account as
    usually done for a bankruptcy. Once the bankruptcy is done, and the
    suspend code taken off the account, she may not even be past due.
