June 30th Fiscal Year Close and Summer Courses

    Here at New School University we have Summer Continuing Education
    courses that run all Summer with varying starting and ending times. We
    also have Summer degree programs that cross fiscal years for us. Our
    close is 6/30/02 and the new year starts July 1. We are struggling with
    the course and programs that overlap fiscal years and allocating revenue
    properly. There are hundreds of courses and many degree programs. Using
    a Summer 1 and Summer II structure doesn't seem to help with overlapping
    courses and terms. We are also afraid it will cause havoc with the call
    in registration (not ICR) and will lead to courses being entered in the
    incorrect term.

    We are running Banner 2000 software so if any Banner customers have
    system solutions please let us know. We are also planning for web
    registration in the fall
