Bankruptcy Documents

We have been contacted by a borrower who has been unable to obtain a copy
of a Discharge Order in her Chapter 7 bankruptcy. We normally require a
copy of the discharge before resuming billing on a student loan. After
speaking with the Bankruptcy Clerk's office, she was advised that she would
have to go to the courthouse to get a copy. She would like to avoid taking
time off from work to do this if possible.

I have tried several websites in an effort to assist our borrower in
obtaining a copy. Does anyone know of a website where FREE copies of
bankruptcy documents can be downloaded? I have verified through the
Bankruptcy Court's Voice Case Information System (VCIS) that the case was
discharged and closed. Do you require a copy of the discharge or will you
resume billing after verifying that the case has been discharged via VCIS?
