Laura,
We bill all students July 1, with a due date of August 1. We do not prevent
students from attending classes if they have not paid their bill before classes
begin.
Our Financial Aid Office sends students information concerning financing
options. All students (freshman admits and all returning students) also
receive our payment plan application by sometime in mid-April, with a start
date (for 10 payments) of May 15. Since virtually all of our students are
full-time, we can give them a generally very accurate picture in April of what
their charges will be, even though we do not assess charges until late June,
so having them start a payment plan prior to receiving a bill is not a problem
for us.
I hope that helps.
