Another College Work Study Question

I would like to know how your institution accounts for both federally funded
work study and college funded work study within a students financial aid
package. Currently our financial aid office includes all college work in a
students financial aid package. This includes work done for student
government, Resident Director, tutoring, etc. It has been a very confusing
issue for the Business Office. A student may have 1-5 work study amounts
listed on financial aid and they are to keep checks for certain jobs and other
work is to be applied to their account. We have federal and college work
separated. Does your institution include any, all or some of a students work
on financial aid? Must the student pay up front for those amounts which are
to be applied to their account? If you do include work study in financial aid
what type is it? Any other information would be very helpful. I would like
to see all college work study removed from financial aid. I am trying to
determine both the pros and cons of this.
