I asked this same question back in December but only had 4 responses so I'm
hoping that with a new year maybe I'll hear from more of you. Our contract
with Follet expires in May and we are frantically looking for another
vendor. Our biggest problem is our size, or lack thereof.
We are getting ready to bid out our bookstore operations and would like some
input from our fellow institutions. Can you recommend any companies with
which you have contracted out and any feedback in regards to them?
We are a small, private, Christian college with an enrollment of 600+
students. We have already outsourced to Founders and Follet with mixed
results.
Has anyone tried running a virtual bookstore? Someone has recommended this
but I'm not sure how it would work or be accepted by our students?
How about running a bookstore in conjunction with the library?
