For instate students, the rate is the same for 9-18 credit hours. There is
a per hour rate over 18. For non-residents, the rate is the same from 1-18
hours with a per hour rate over 18. We receive a lot of complaints from
non-residents that are charged $8,000 for a three-credit class!

Subject: Tuition Assessment

We currently assess tuition and fees for undergraduate students at a per
hour
rate up to 12 hours and then 12 hours or more is considered full-time and
there is one rate. We are discussing the assessment process and the
possibility of changing to either a strict per hour rate or having an
assessment similar to our current with an additional charge above 18 hours.
I
am interested in hearing the pros and cons or if you have a different
assessment process that works well for your institution.

Thanks in advance.
