Oklahoma Baptist University charges a part-time
rate per hour for 11 and fewer hours. A full-time
load is 12-16 hours and has one tuition price.
Any hours over 16 are considered overload and we
charge a per hour rate for those hours.

We currently assess tuition and fees for
undergraduate students at a per hour
rate up to 12 hours and then 12 hours or more is
considered full-time and
there is one rate. We are discussing the
assessment process and the
possibility of changing to either a strict per
hour rate or having an
assessment similar to our current with an
additional charge above 18 hours. I
am interested in hearing the pros and cons or if
you have a different
assessment process that works well for your
institution.

Thanks in advance.
