A while ago, I asked for names of payment plan vendors who would collect
& remit payment to the school without holding it for 30 days.


Your responses indicated that two firms universally provide this service:
 AES (Advanced Educations Services, Inc.) & FACTS Tuition Management Co. 
In addition, other payment plan vendors, including some of the big names
in the field, may be willing to negotiate individual special arrangements
with your school, but these 2 firms don't require special arrangements.


<bold>AES</bold> (1-800-551-2773) offers the option of outsourcing the
entire process or handling it partially in-house.  The student pays a
reasonable fee less than or equal to other plans in the field (i.e. less
than $50).  <bold>Would anyone using this firm's "Payment Plan Assistant"
option (the total outsourcing option) be willing to share their
experiences with me?


FACTS</bold> (1-800-624-7092) relies exclusively on automatic,
pre-authorized payments from students' bank accounts or Visa/MasterCard. 
Funds are available to the school in 10 days.
