The University of Delaware does not cash checks for students, faculty or
staff. We charge a returned check fee of $ 25 when a check is returned
to us by our bank. Our bank does present the check twice to the maker's
bank before returning it to us. When we receive it (and charge the $
25), we can't re-present the document and must contact the maker for a
replacement.
