                                           DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The
Student Account Representative
                                           will be a generalist who is the
College's primary contact for students and
                                           parents wishing to resolve
billing questions and plays a significant role in
                                           the billing and collection of
accounts receivable. Completes student loan
                                           disbursements to student
accounts; reviews loan activity and reconciles
                                           to general ledger; returns
federal funds in compliance with federal
                                           regulations and direction from
the Financial Aid Office. Some of the
                                           duties consist of preparing
invoices for companies and government
                                           agencies paying tuition, track
payments. Monitor the College's deferred
                                           payment plans; contact students
not meeting payment schedule.
                                           Document and post manual
adjustments and refunds to students'
                                           accounts. Will be backup for
Payroll, Cashiers when needed.

                                              REQUIREMENTS: A High School
diploma is required, College
                                           degree preferred, plus 2 - 3
years experience in a fast-paced office
                                           environment. Excellent oral,
written and organizational skills and
                                           attention to details are
essential. Must be able to handle sensitive and
                                           confidential information
appropriately. Excellent "people" skills requiring
                                           tact and patience. Requires
intense data entry/report analysis.
                                           Knowledge of Microsoft Word,
Excel, Banner/Student Receivable
                                           System a plus.
