I would like to hear from other Community Colleges on this:
1. When do you start registering for your fall and spring terms? And, when
do you expect payment?
We started registering for our fall term on 7/10/00. We will start our
spring registration at the end of November. We require payment prior to the
first day of classes.
2. Do you drop students from courses for non-payment? If so, when?
We drop students for non-payment prior to the first day of classes.
3. Do you provide a tuition payment plan (internal or external)? And, do
you assess a fee and/or interest?
We, by state law, provide a payment plan. We administer it ourselves. We
assess a $10 fee for set up and $20 late fees. We do not charge interest. A
student who does not make his/her payments is barred from future
registration until all balances are cleared.
