Jean, you should read the latest Liquidation Procedures published by ED in a
fairly recent Dear Partner Letter. I'm not in the office and cannot give
you the reference today. However, if you browse through the DPLs at
http://ifap.ed.gov you will find it without problem. It includes how to
calculate the Federal portion that must be reurned to ED.

Subject: us governement refundable dollars

I just want someone to confirm this for me before I spend all this time on
this spreadsheet.

Someone finally asked ME what I thought should be on our books for the
amount of money we are liable to the feds if we had to repay or HPSL and
Perkins program funds.

When we closed the FCL program, it all went back because we didn't
contribute to the program. I am assuming that with the FCC we would keep
the 1/9 since that is what we put in.

With the Perkins program, the rate has changed at least 3 three times.
Would it be a percentage of the total on the total fed contrib and our total
put contib?

Any help you give me would be appreciated.
