Greetings to you all from the Nation's Capital, which looks as glorious
in snow and ice as it does in cherry blossoms!
When aging student receivables (and student only, no contract or
third-party), do you age by number of days or by term? If by days, how
do you determine the starting date?
We currently age by days, using the Bill Date as the starting point. We
are not necessarily changing that approach since our auditors seem to
like it, but are studying the ramifications of aging by term.
Thanks for any and all advice - Kathy
