RE: Prior Year Pell Grant Data
On December 13, 1999, Pell made the final sweep of the production mailbox
for school years 1996-97 and 1997-98 for the following incoming message
classes:
PREQ97IN and PREQ98IN
Pell Payment Data
ESPR97IN and ESPR98IN
Pell Data Request
We will reject all subsequent submissions for these message classes and
return rejected batches in the PCOE97OP and PCOE98OP message classes.
We will complete our processing of your 1996-97 and 1997-98 Electronic Data
Exchange submissions as soon as possible, and no later than December 27,
1999. We will return the processed results to your production mailbox in the
usual message class(es). Please import these data promptly. The next update
of EDconnect will remove all 1996-97 and 1997-98 message classes.
If you need to report further post-deadline adjustments for 1996-97 or
1997-98, please follow the Decrease Award Report instructions described in
Dear Colleague Letter P-98-3, posted at www.ifap.ed.gov under the 1997-98
