Good morning all,
UMB is putting out a loan servicer RFP in the spring. Since we have been with the same servicer for about 30 years we have an understandable concern about conversion issues should we pick a new servicer this time around. We have a portfolio of about $30million in University held loans including Perkins, Health Professions, Nursing, Primary Care, Nurse Faculty and University private loans. I'm interested in feedback from any school that has been through a recent loan servicer conversion. I especially would like to know how long the conversion took and what problems/issues were faced during or because of the change in servicers.
Thanks for any insight you can share.
