 I handle the credit bureau reporting for our tuition accounts. We were
told by the bureaus several years ago that they would no longer accept
paper forms. E-Oscar takes some getting used to, but it is SO much
easier and faster than paper. The annual fee is minimal and is worth
it, considering the time savings over paper forms.

Our office does deal with Perkins loans and our servicer is UAS. They
report the Perkins loans and also handle the disputes, so our loans
clerks don't deal with E-Oscar at all.

Good day,

We have recently migrated our Perkins Loan processing from UAS to ECSI.
As part of that change, we are being advised that the process for
reporting delinquencies to credit bureaus and the resolution dispute
process has changed. We have been instructed that it is now mandatory to
join E-Oscar for credit dispute resolution and to join we must pay a
one-time enrollment fee and an annual maintenance cost.

Does anyone continue to perform dispute resolution manually, directly
with the credit reporting agencies or has everyone joined E-Oscar? If
the latter, can you point me to the regulation which requires this
agency be used?
