We began using this online acceptance of financial responsibility two years ago. It is required for each student as part of their checklist of items that can be done online prior to Fall check-in. Roanoke is a Datatel school and IT has this set up so once it is accepted by the student the code attached to this form is shown as received and dated in the CRI screen (a tracking screen) and on their individual history. If it is not signed, it creates a 'hold' which they have to clear before accessing their final schedule and being able to check in. This serves for the academic year for students enrolled in the fall but any new incoming students for spring semester do it in January.
Only the top half is used online but if a student comes to the office we can print out the form and have them sign and date it there and we can manually code.
